Winter Continues

Temperatures today will slowly be on the decline as we head into our afternoon hours. We are expecting some snowfall to return to the area throughout the day, mainly this afternoon and tonight. Areas may experience more freezing drizzle and fog before the afternoon sets in as temperatures will rise right at or slightly above freezing before declining. New snow accumulations of less than 2.0″ are possible before midnight with the higher totals expected to occur in Whiteside, and lesser totals in Lee. Winds will begin to pick up in the region with gusts up to 35-40MPH at times. As winds increase, downed trees and possibly power outages may occur where ice accumulations have built up. Below is the list of Hazards, general info, and tips.
