Wind Chill Advisory Tuesday Night – Wednesday Morning

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill ADVISORY for both Lee and Whiteside counties until noon Wednesday.

Overnight low temperatures will drop between -8 and -14 degrees. This combined with a steady breeze will create wind chill values between -20 and -25. Frostbite will occur to exposed skin in less than 30 minutes. Limit time spent outdoors and make sure to bundle up. Also, keep pets in mind by limiting their outdoor exposure.
