Another cool start across the Sauk Valley this morning as a robust area of high pressure remains firmly in control of our weather pattern and this will continue for one more day before we bring back the rain chances.
For today expect plenty of sunshine and warmer temperatures as we easily reach the upper 70s.
Tonight we’ll see clear skies continue with lows near 50.
Wednesday will feature a slight increase in cloud cover, especially as we head through the afternoon hours but temperatures will remain warm, nearing 80 degrees.
Precipitation chances return to the area beginning early Thursday as high pressure retreats off to the east. We’ll see periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms through the upcoming weekend, with Saturday looking drier compared to the other days. Temperatures will remain seasonal too in the 70s and 80s.
Have a great Tuesday!
