Warm today, cooler Sunday. Rain chances increasing.

Another beautiful weekend on tap across the Sauk Valley with ample sunshine expected today as you can see via the visible satellite image. Not many clouds around the area! Highs will reach into the middle 50s with light winds.

Tonight clouds will be on the increase late as our next storm system approaches, lows right around 30 degrees.

For Sunday expect cooler readings with plenty of clouds. Highs in the upper 40s.

3-20-15 Forecast

Our next chance for precipitation begins late Sunday night and into the first part of Monday with a mix of rain and snow possible. Not looking at any significant snow accumulations right now as it appears the heaviest potential will stay to the north of the area. Expect cooler readings though with highs in the lower 40s.

3-20-15 Forecast2

On the heels of this first storm system, another one moves in for Tuesday with rain looking likely. In fact, we could actually get a decent amount of rain if the models stay on course. A welcome sight to be sure!
