Unseasonably Warm Temps Continue…Rain Thur/Fri

It really is November! I promise! Though our weather sure isn’t acting that way, and that is certainly fine with me and many others I’m sure as (like a broken record) we chalked up another 70+ degree day yesterday with plenty of sunshine and a southerly flow keeping our area nice and warm. We’ll continue this trend over at least the next couple of days all ahead of our next storm system that moves in late Thursday and especially Friday.

Today will be much like yesterday, just a degree or two warmer with continue sunshine and a light southerly breeze temperatures should have no problem reaching right around 74.

Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week as we bring in a strong south wind helping to boost highs to around 76 under plenty of sunshine.

Thursday begins our transition period as an area of low pressure develops along a cold front sitting to the west of the area. This low will ride northeastward towards the area later during the day on Thursday. For now we’ll expect some sunshine during the day to go for another above 70 degree day with highs in the lower 70s. By Thursday evening the clouds will be on the increase with rain becoming likely by Friday morning. Temperatures will turn much cooler as the system departs heading into the upcoming weekend.

We’ll fine-tune the rain chances and amounts around the middle of this week.

Here’s some data from last month in terms of what we experienced compared to the averages. Another month above normal for temperatures and almost near normal for precipitation.  We’ll see where November takes us.
