The remnants of subtropical depression Alberto will throw an unusually high level of moisture into the area today allowing any heavier showers and thunderstorms to produce high rainfall rates which may cause some nuisance flooding throughout the day. No severe weather is currently expected.
We’ll see a round of showers and storms this morning followed by scattered storm activity this afternoon. Many locations are likely going to pick up more than an inch of rain with this system. Highs today will be limited to near 80 degrees.
We warm back up with heat and humidity Thursday that could fuel a scattered storm or two in the afternoon. Highs well into the 80s.
Back to the middle 80s and dry Friday with lower humidity heading into the weekend.
