A few rain showers and even a rumble of thunder or two will dot the landscape through the overnight hours ahead of an approaching cold front. Not expecting anything in terms of severe weather but just some scattered activity here and there. Lows tonight will be mild with all of the cloud cover, right in the middle 50s.
For Monday we’ll start off with extensive cloudiness in the morning but by afternoon the sun will make an appearance helping to boost our highs into the upper 60s with a very gusty northwest breeze.
Monday night clear skies will remain with us as winds die down some. Lows will be in the upper 30s.
Tuesday we’ll continue the sunshine and bump temperatures up another notch with highs expected to be around 70.
Overall a great weeks worth of weather coming up, especially great for the cleanup crews who will be working hard in the area to help recover the tornado ravaged towns. Our thoughts continue to be with all of those affected by last weeks devastating severe storms.
On Tuesday’s broadcast we’ll go over the severe weather event that occurred last Thursday, as long as a few lessons learned in what to do if you are caught in a vehicle during a tornado.
Have a great Monday!
