The pool will be your best friend this weekend! Yesterday many locations reached high temperatures well into the middle 80s and today we’ll add a few more degrees and even a little bit of humidity, too. Highs close to 90 are likely by this afternoon. Unless you have a pool the only form of relief from the heat will be an isolated shower or storm. These will be widely scattered and I anticipate most of the area will remain dry. The severe weather threat appears it will remain off to the north of the area today however an isolated strong storm may produce some hail and gusty winds.
We will knock down the humidity for Sunday however temperatures well into the 80s again are expected. There should be a decent breeze by the afternoon so comfort levels will be on the rise throughout the day.
