Summer-like Warmth Continues…Rain Chances Late Week

The warmth has come back in full force as we swing between season’s again going from the 70s for highs this past Sunday all the way to the middle 80s yesterday! Thanks in part to a strong southerly flow at the surface with winds gusting to 25 MPH at times helping to boost our daytime highs easily into the 80s.

We’ll continue the summer-like warmth again today with plenty of sunshine and gusty south winds. Highs will be around 85 or better.

Wednesday will be more of the same with temperatures just a degree or two warmer. Dry conditions will persist both days.

A cold front will begin working towards the area as we approach Thursday evening bringing our first of several chances for showers and thunderstorms. Right now Friday is looking very wet. We’ll fine tune the rain chances as we get closer to the end of the week for many important football games scheduled for Friday night.
