A few peaks of sunshine will be possible this afternoon along with warm and muggy conditions as our area will sit just ahead of an approaching cold front that may provide the opportunity for a few stronger storms this afternoon. Windy conditions will persist as well with gusts to 30 MPH possible. Highs will be near 80.
The Storm Prediction Center has our area out-looked for a slight risk of severe weather, with the primary threat being large hail, damaging winds, and perhaps an isolated tornado. We’ll pass along any watches or warnings if they are issued from the NWS this afternoon.
