Our severe weather chances return tomorrow (Thursday). We do have a slight chance for a thunderstorm overnight tonight, but a higher chance comes tomorrow.
First, a chance for showers and thunderstorms are possible early in the morning hours where some could be strong. These morning storms that could be stronger may produce small to marginal sized hail, along with isolated damaging winds.
As these move out, destabilization will likely occur along and south of the warm front. Wind shear height will support the opportunity for supercell development. However, lift mechanisms will be lacking somewhat in the lower atmospheric levels and surface, which will decrease widespread threats of severe weather. Which in return will cause any severe threats to remain isolated. With these supercells all hazards are possible, but large hail would be the dominate threat in the strong to severe thunderstorms. Again, a brief tornado cannot be ruled out with the evening storms.
That's our severe weather outlook for Thursday June 8th
Don't forget, following Thursday our heat arrives primarily for Friday and Saturday.
