A nice break from the oppressive heat and humidity is in progress across the area and this will hold for much of the upcoming weekend too! Even though we’ll be increasing the temperatures thankfully the worst of the humidity looks to hold off until Monday when a cold front approaches the area.
Today will feature plenty of sunshine and comfortable conditions again with highs in the middle to upper 80s.
Tonight natural air conditioner will remain present with us again so feel free to open the windows and let the fresh air in. Clear skies will give way to overnight lows in the lower 60s.
We’ll be warmer to start the weekend with high temperatures pushing 90 degrees under plenty of sunshine but the humidity levels will remain in check. Sunday will be a bit warmer with highs in the lower 90s. Sunday you’ll also notice a bit of an increase in humidity too.
Monday a cold front will approach the area bringing in our first opportunity for showers and storms. Too early to determine any severe threats but we’ll closely monitor. Temperatures then drop behind the front for Tuesday and much of next week with dry conditions continuing.
