Thankfully we picked up a few tenths of an inch of rainfall earlier this morning as we ended our several day dry stretch. We could still use more though with another opportunity at some showers and thunderstorms this afternoon ahead of a weak cold front. Some patchy fog this morning is possible with the fresh moisture on the ground and light winds, but this will dissipate as the morning hours progress. Otherwise lots of clouds will hang around for much of the day with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible later this afternoon.
After the front moves through we return to sunshine and another dry stretch for much of the new workweek, though temperatures will remain pleasant in the lower 80s.
Heat and humidity will make a comeback by the time we enter next weekend with renewed chances of showers and thunderstorms.
