The snow came and went just as quickly as our strong March sunshine continues to eat away at any remaining piles out there. Big warmth is still expected next week but first we’ll have to get through just a few more cool days before we can enjoy the warmth.
Skies will remain mostly cloudy especially as we head into the afternoon hours as a weak disturbance approaches the area which could lead to a few scattered showers by this evening. Temperatures will continue to climb as we reach for 38 degrees by this afternoon.
Tonight any leftover showers will be gone by midnight with partly cloudy skies expected.
Saturday sunshine returns with windy conditions developing. Highs in the lower 40s.
Our big warm-up begins in earnest Sunday as strong southerly winds develop boosting our highs past the 50 degree mark. 50s will continue into the first part of next week with middle 60s likely by Tuesday with a chance of scattered showers and perhaps even some thunderstorms! Spring is definitely knocking!
Have a great weekend!
