The Storm Prediction Center has upgraded our severe risk to the Slight Risk category for this afternoon and evening. Scattered strong thunderstorms remain possible as a disturbance approaches the area later today. The main threats include large hail, damaging winds and an isolated tornado or two. Heavy rainfall is also likely with the stronger storms.
The main window for storms today will be 3pm-10pm.
