A Severe Thunderstorm WATCH has been issued for Lee and Whiteside Counties until 9pm this evening.
Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are currently developing in eastern Iowa along an outflow boundary moving east from strong storm activity in parts of Wisconsin.
Storms that are able to intensify further this afternoon will be more than capable of wind gusts over 70 MPH, torrential rainfall, and frequent lightning.
Seek shelter inside a sturdy structure should a warning be issued for your area.
