12:15AM Radar Update
A line of strong thunderstorms continues to move southeastward towards the local area. Right now no warnings are in place but gusty winds along with frequent lightning are likely as these storms move through between 1 and 3am.
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm WATCH until 5AM CDT for our area.
Severe thunderstorms currently entering extreme parts of northeast Iowa and southwestern Wisconsin are expected to continue moving towards the area overnight. These storms will be capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 MPH along with brief heavy rainfall.SaukValleyWeather.com
An isolated tornado or two also can’t be ruled out with this line of storms, however the risk remains isolated at this time.
Seek shelter in a sturdy structure and stay away from windows should your area be placed under a warning.
