A SLIGHT RISK of severe thunderstorms is forecast for Tuesday afternoon.
A strong cold front will be approaching the area during the afternoon hours and may help develop an area of scattered severe thunderstorms capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, and possible tornadoes. Currently some uncertainty regarding the timing of the front arriving in the local area does exist but should be better clarified over the next 12 hours.
