Good Thursday morning everyone!
Our risk for severe weather still continues today depending on how things can come together this afternoon in terms of sunshine and cold front timing. Scattered activity will continue through the morning hours with a break in the activity early this afternoon. If we can get some sunshine things may get bumpy around the local area as we head towards the late afternoon and early evening hours.
Once storms develop, some could turn severe quite quickly. The main time frame for storms will be from 2pm until around 6-7pm this evening. Storms will be moving fast, so make sure and stay weather aware throughout the day and be prepared to take action/seek shelter if necessary. Any severe storm will be capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes.
Once the front passes this eveningĀ a few leftover showers will be possible for the overnight hours with breezy conditions continuing. Lows in the lower 40s.
For Today: Showers/T-Storms developing this afternoon, some strong. Windy and warmer. High around 73.
Tonight: Showers/T-Storms ending, few scattered light showers possible overnight. Lows in the lower 40s.
Friday: Sunny and a bit cooler, breezy. Highs around 60.
Have a great Thursday!
