We’ll be returning to another fall-like preview in terms of temperatures again for the upcoming weekend but first we’ll have another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms for this afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front. Clouds have already begun to increase across the region with a few showers and storms on radar to the north of the area. As the day progresses expect the clouds to hang around with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely by mid-afternoon. Highs today will be held down by the clouds with temperatures near 70 expected, though an extended period of sunshine could push those highs a degree or two higher.
Tonight we’ll move out any remaining showers and thunderstorms after 9pm and begin to clear out the clouds. Overnight lows are expected to be around 58.
Friday we’ll bring back increased amounts of sunshine but up the winds with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s.
This upcoming weekend still looks cool but dry as an area of high pressure settles off to the west. This will keep our area under the influence of an air mass originating from Canada so expect highs to be cooler, mainly in the upper 60s.
Our next chance of precipitation does not arrive until the middle part of next week as temperatures warm again into the 80s.
Have a great Thursday and Weekend!
