Roller Coaster Temps Continue

Showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder will be found across the area early today before a cold front moves through this morning sweeping much of the precipitation off to the east by this evening. Temperatures will be falling throughout the day. Frost advisories may be posted for the area tonight as skies clear out and temperatures drop back into the 30s. Our temperature roller coaster continues this week. Find out how high and low temperatures will go in your latest forecast. Have a great Wednesday! -Andrew

October’s temperature roller coaster continues across the area as we frequently go from summer-like warmth to big time fall-like chill. Here is a look at high temperatures so far this month. Quite the ride!

A cold front will be working through the area later this morning bringing showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder or two. These may last briefly into the afternoon before ending. Behind the front temperatures will be on the decrease but the winds will be on the increase. Temperatures will fall through the 50s through the afternoon hours.

Tonight as skies clear and winds drop in speed some frost will be possible as low temperatures head for the middle to upper 30s.

We’ll be briefly cooler on Thursday with highs near 60 but we quickly warm temperatures by the upcoming weekend returning to the 70s. The beginning of next week looks to be even warmer with highs touching 80 degrees on Monday not out of the question.
