RIVER RESTRICTIONS LIFTED: The Illinois Department of Natural Resources has lifted the boating restriction on the Rock river for Lee and Whiteside counties as of last night. The Rock river at Dixon is currently at 13.8′ with flood stage being 16′.

The Rock river at Como is currently at 11′. Flood stage is 10′. It will likely fall below flood stage on Thursday.

Conditions will greatly improve by this upcoming weekend and it is likely that all activities can resume safely then.
