Rain Shuts Off…Pleasant Weekend Ahead

Slide2

Areas of dense fog around the area yesterday morning were captured below by our media team member Michaela. There may be some patchy fog again this morning as light winds and patches of clear skies were around overnight.

We’ll shut the rain off today as our low pressure system departs and bring back a little bit of sunshine with windy conditions by the afternoon. Temperatures will be cooler behind this system in response to northeast winds as highs only reach the lower 60s.

Looking forward to the weekend it looks REALLY NICE with full sunshine returning for our Saturday and warmer temperatures too! Winds will be lighter with highs nearing 70 degrees.

Sunday looks even warmer with increasing clouds later in the day. Temperatures will be close to 80 by the afternoon with light southerly breezes.

Storm chances return to the forecast early next week with even prospects for some severe weather by the middle of next week. Something we’ll be keeping an eye on over the weekend. Stay tuned!
