Potentially Stormy Week Ahead

Our pattern this week will become a bit more on the active side of things as another heat dome establishes itself over the Midwest by Wednesday. We’ll be on the northern edge of the most significant heat, meaning we’ll see increased chances for occasional thunderstorm clusters to push through the area. This type of pattern is known as the “Ring of Fire”.

Today will be dry with sunny skies and highs near 80 while tonight will feature our first of several chances for showers and storms, especially after midnight.

Some of these clusters could be strong later this week as temperatures continue to climb well into the 80s by Thursday. We’ll certainly give you a heads up should anything threatening look to come our way.
