More Storms Again…Break Ahead!!!

Like a broken record the area was hammered again yesterday with heavy rainfall as afternoon thunderstorms took advantage of the continued abnormally high moisture levels to produce localized 2″+ rainfall totals. Unfortunately we will be repeating this same scenario today however a break in the rain has finally appeared in the forecast. Find out when we can shut the drops off in your latest forecast. Have a great Tuesday!

Another day and another map of impressive localized rainfall totals for some of our hometowns as tropical moisture remains over the area. Scattered afternoon thunderstorms once again managed to put down some heavy rainfall with some locations picking up over an inch. This will continue to cause problems today as we once again renew the threat for heavy rainfall as more scattered thunderstorms develop again this afternoon ahead of a cold front that will finally put an end to our rain chances by tomorrow. It will continue to be humid this afternoon again as well with highs in the middle 80s likely.

Tonight the cold front begins to make progress across the area and will end the rain chances by late evening. Skies will begin to clear out and lows will be in the middle to upper 60s.

Wednesday we finally dry out our skies with partly sunny conditions expected and much cooler temperatures too. Highs near 80 degrees.

Beyond Wednesday things stay dry through Saturday with pleasant conditions. Next week we could potentially turn active again with more in the way of humidity and increasing chances for moer showers and thunderstorms.
