More Rain Than Snow On The Way

Clouds, clouds and more clouds again in our forecast for this afternoon as a new storm system gathers strength in the plains. Winter Storm Watches and Warnings are heavily in place to our north while here we will remain on the warmer side of this system receiving mostly rain by late tonight through early Wednesday. Highs today will be back to near 40 degrees.
Tonight rain becomes likely with a rumble or two of thunder possible closer to midnight.

Scattered rain showers will continue for much of Wednesday. A few flakes could mix with the rain drops by Wednesday evening with very light accumulations possible (under an inch). Winds will also ramp up by Wednesday evening gusting to around 30 MPH at times.
