As the cold front stalled out yesterday across eastern Iowa, and far northwest corner of Illinois, storms failed to linger into the Sauk Valley region leaving us dry and hot. Unfortunately that cold front will not advance any further east as it transitions into a warm front over the next day and move northward out of the area.
Plenty of sunshine though is expected over the next several days, along with hot and humid conditions through the weekend. Not seeing a decent chance of rain until later next week.
