Make Outdoor Plans for a Beautiful Weekend Ahead!

Get ready to get outside this upcoming weekend as the sunshine returns and temperatures warm!

Clouds will be on the increase today as a weak disturbance passes by the area. This will lead to slightly cooler temperatures but still not a bad afternoon by any means. Temperatures should manage to make it into the lower 70s with whatever little sunshine we can manage to squeeze out.

The sun will return in full this weekend as temperatures continue to warm and our dry pattern continues. Several community activities are occurring including the city-wide garage sales in both Sterling and Rock Falls, as well as the Car Show in downtown Sterling on Sunday. Both events look a-ok weather-wise as plenty of sunshine will be seen and highs reaching towards 80 degrees.

We’ll start next week off on a quiet note but quickly turn active as moisture begins to increase from the south. Near daily chances for showers and thunderstorms starts Tuesday but not every day will be a complete washout, there will be many dry hours in-between storms. Temperatures will remain mild with highs near 80 and more humidity making things feel muggy at times.

Have a great weekend!
