We’ll be under the influence of a somewhat drier air mass for today which will make the expected 80s for highs feel much more comfortable compared to yesterday when copious amounts of moisture was found across the area. However, with the drier air a colder air mass will exist aloft and that could set the stage for an isolated shower or even a thunderstorm come later this afternoon as we get some sunshine to return. Winds will be picking up as well as we go through the day with gusts near 25 MPH possible by afternoon. Expect afternoon highs to generally be in the lower 80s.
For tonight any leftover showers and thunderstorms will quickly dissipate after sunset, and fair skies will be found. Lows will be around 60.
Tuesday we’ll keep the forecast dry with plenty of sunshine and warmer temperatures expected. The warmth will stick around through the entire extended forecast, with the dry weather prevailing through at least Wednesday before we return to a more active period at the end of the new work week.
Have a great Monday!
