First order of business this morning is we’d like to wish a very Happy Birthday to one of our own, Kyle Morgan!
Our fall-like preview will be coming to an abrupt end today as we begin to see high temperatures that we haven’t seen in some 51 days. A flip in the pattern will allow that heat-filled ridge to the west to inch towards the area into the weekend sending our high temperatures well into the 80s and possibly near 90 by Saturday.
This pattern holds very little chance for rain, with only a 30 to 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms late Saturday into early Sunday.
Looking ahead the warmth will come to an end by early next week but more signs point to more warmth moving in by the middle to end of next week. We’ll hope we can squeeze a few raindrops out of those transition periods.
