Clouds will continue to increase throughout the day keeping our temperatures cooler compared to yesterday with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. We will remain dry today with increasing chances for showers and storms Tuesday.
Some of the storms Tuesday afternoon and evening could strong, especially if we can clear out any morning showers, storms, and cloud cover. Threats will favor large hail, damaging winds, and torrential rainfall. These will be further clarified over the next 24 hours. Definitely stay tuned to this portion of the forecast!
Beyond, more heat and humidity will expand into the region by Thursday and well into next weekend with highs in the lower 90s and heat index values back in the lower 100s. We look to remain rain-free for most of this period.
