A Flash Flood WATCH has been issued for Whiteside County until 1pm Wednesday.
A Flash Flood WATCH has also been issued for Lee County until 11am Wednesday.
Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms are likely throughout the day Tuesday with additional rainfall of more than one inch likely. With the soil already saturated from previous heavy rains Monday, any additional rainfall will likely lead to areas of flash flooding.
The greatest chances for rain will be centered around the morning and early afternoon with a temporary break by the late afternoon. By early evening additional rounds of showers and a few thunderstorms will be likely again. Strong east winds and cloud cover will keep temperatures well below normal with highs limited to the upper 40s.
