I couldn’t help but smile as I put tonight’s package together. Finally we have several days with mild temperatures on the way this week! So far this season, we usually squeeze out maybe one or two spectacular warm and sunny days until another front moves through and jolts us back to winter-like temperatures. This week however, we have several above normal days expected, so get ready to make those outdoor plans!
For your Monday expect plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures. Highs will reach right around 64 degrees with west winds around 10 MPH.
Monday night will feature a few clouds with lows around 43.
Tuesday we continue with sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures with highs in the middle 60s.
Our next chance of precipitation comes with a disturbance and associated cold front on Wednesday evening/Thursday morning. Showers and thunderstorms look likely during this period. Hopefully we can squeeze out some decent rainfall from this event as well and start off the month of April with some moisture!
I’ll go into detail on how much rainfall to expect and if there is any chance some of the storms could be on the strong side during Tuesday’s broadcast.
