A much needed soaking rain finally overspread the Sauk Valley late yesterday and overnight giving many areas in excess of half an inch! A much welcome sight to farmers and anyone else who cleaned up and fertilized their lawns over the last week. Rain showers will continue to be a part of the forecast today, though it won’t be raining all the time, a few scattered areas of showers are possible this morning and later this afternoon as winds begin to increase. The clouds will hang around with highs in the middle to upper 50s. The cooler and windy conditions will stick around for a few days, but temperatures do show signs of gradually warming up again! We’ll go into detail on how long this pattern will stick around and examine some of the rainfall totals on Tuesday’s broadcast. Have a great Monday!
