Early storms starting in western Lee county around 12:30AM may have shook the house of several residents. Along with frequent cloud to ground lightning, heavy rain was falling in these slow moving storms. The National Weather Service of Chicago issued a Flood Advisory at 1:16AM where Doppler radar estimated 1 to 2 inches have fallen already across western Lee county. Another 1 to 2 inches may fall through the predawn hours of Thursday morning.
A Flood Advisory has been issued until 7:15AM Thursday morning.
