Dry Weekend Ahead…Briefly Cooler

After a windy but warm Thursday all ahead of a cold front that moved through late last night bringing an end to our above average temperatures. With the front well off to the east the sunshine will return today along with cooler temperatures as the 70s will be long gone and the 50s move in. Winds will still be quite gusty until we reach the evening hours ranging from 10-20 MPH at times.

This upcoming weekend is looking dry but seasonably cooler with Saturday being the coolest day of them all as highs only approach 50. The winds will be lighter so it won’t feel too bad but you’ll still want the jacket. Sunday is looking better with continued sunshine and highs in the lower 50s with light winds continuing.

We’ll start another warming trend to start off the new work week as temperatures climb through the 50s by Monday with sunshine continuing and by Tuesday should be back near 60 degrees with dry conditions continuing.

Several of the models have been hinting at a pretty substantial storm system for the middle of next week. Since this time period is still pretty far out things can change so stay tuned as we get into early next week as more information and confidence comes into play.
