Dry Start to 2016

Happy New Year!

2016 is will start on a dry and quiet note for us here after weeks of active weather that pushed our December precipitation total to 3.71″! Quite remarkable!

Cold temperatures are going to stick with us through the upcoming weekend but a warm up is on the way especially by the time we reach the middle of next week.

High pressure will remain in control of our weather over the upcoming weekend allowing for plenty of sunshine and seasonal temperatures. Saturday will be the coolest of the bunch with highs topping out in the upper 20s. By Sunday we will be back near 30 with continued sunshine.

Sunshine and dry conditions continue through pretty much all of next week with temperatures holding steady in the middle 30s which should allow us to melt off some of the snow and ice that is still hanging around. Next chance of precipitation does not arrive until we approach next weekend.
