Dry Saturday…Storm Clusters Sunday

Our dry pattern will continue today as high pressure to our east slowly moves away from the area. Expect plenty of sunshine and a light easterly breeze with highs in the lower 80s.
Tonight begins the first of two chances for rainfall, as a storm cluster may form out to the west of the area and move through during the early morning hours on Sunday. Sunday afternoon is more in question, as it all comes down to the timing of a cold front passage during the afternoon. If we can break into some sunshine later in the morning/early afternoon, we could get a decent area of thunderstorms to form pretty close to the area. If the front moves through earlier in the day, the threat decreases. Either way, storms looking likely at some point during the day on Sunday. The streak of 80s looks to continue right on through the extended outlook, safe to say summer is here! 🙂

Have a GREAT weekend!
