Dry and chilly weekend

Gusty winds and a few snow showers/flurries will kick off our Friday, not to mention it will be colder, too! Clouds will be decreasing by this afternoon leaving a few peaks of sunshine before sunset this evening. Highs will only reach the lower 40s.

A much drier pattern will be moving in for the next week as a strong area of high pressure moves into the Midwest. This will be a much-needed break from the heavy rains, but continued snow melt to our north will keep area rivers elevated through the next week.

Temperatures will slowly moderate in the next week as well, with many 50s expected by the end of the week.
