If you haven't already, go ahead and click off that A/C! Temperatures that are more typical of September will continue to remain with us as we go through the upcoming weekend.
Dry conditions are expected today with a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures will remain cool, rising to the middle 70s. The jet stream will continue to keep the oppressive heat and humidity displaced well to our south for the next week.
Getting into the weekend rain chances don't really pick up until we reach Sunday, making any outdoor plans for Saturday a go! Highs will continue to be in the upper 70s to near 80 for the rest of the weekend with very little in the way of humidity.
Rain chances will continue on and off next week as a series of disturbances traverse the region. The best chance for rain appears to be in the Sunday night through Tuesday timeframe. We are around an inch behind for the month so the rains will be a welcome sight for many of us.
