A noisy start for us this Friday morning with a cluster of showers and thunderstorms moving through. Expect frequent lightning, brief, heavy rain, small hail, and gusty winds as these storms move through this morning.
We do need the rain and our active pattern providing several chances for showers and storms will continue into the weekend. It is very difficult to pin down the exact timing on these rain chances in this type of pattern, but, it will not be raining the entire day with several dry hours expected. Temperatures will continue to remain in the 80s.
Early next week in the Monday/Tuesday time frame a stronger storm system will be moving through that could produce a few stronger storms. We’ll keep on eye on that as the weekend progresses. Otherwise, keep the rain gear handy!
