What a beautiful weekend we wrapped up two days ago with mild air finally arriving back into our neck of the woods. Hopefully you were able to get out and enjoy it at some point!
Today we’ll be briefly cooler as the storm system responsible for the light rain yesterday continues eastward. Behind it colder readings will settle in for this afternoon with temperatures getting knocked back down into the upper 20s with blustery conditions. The added wind will make it feel more like the teens! Thankfully though these colder readings will only briefly visit us here.
By Wednesday were already switching winds to the southwest and in doing so our temperatures will begin to respond nicely with highs back in the lower 30s and much more in the way of sunshine. A weak clipper system will traverse to the north of the area Thursday bringing just an increase in cloud cover here locally as most of the precipitation associated with it stays to the north. Unfortunately the clouds look to hang around for the remainder of the work week leading into the upcoming weekend.
Temperatures will surge ahead of yet another weak system for Saturday. This one could be close enough for a few light showers, but overall a very mild day on tap with temperatures in the 40s.
The models are trying to bring in a pretty strong storm system for early next week. At this time it appears rain is likely however the system is still several days out and will more than likely change in track and intensity by the time we reach the weekend. Still something that bears watching for early next week.
Have a great Tuesday!
