A BLIZZARD WARNING has been issued for LEE and WHITESIDE COUNTIES until 6am Monday.
Snow will continue to fall and intensify into the late afternoon and early evening hours with strong winds gusting up to 40 MPH by early evening. This will great blizzard conditions with extremely low visibility making travel dangerous.
Snowfall amounts of 6-9 inches with locally higher totals are still anticipated at this time. Please avoid travel this afternoon and into the overnight hours.
