All of the smoke and haze from yesterday will be greatly reduced today as our air mass change continues across the region. We’ll be looking for mostly sunny conditions and high temperatures back in the middle 70s.
Our flow aloft will transition from northwest to southwest this weekend allowing for our temperatures to surge well above average with widespread middle to upper 80s likely by Sunday. First though a very chilly start to our Saturday morning with low temperatures dipping into the middle 40s.
Labor Day itself looks mostly dry with a cold front holding off until the late evening hours. This will cause temperatures to jump close to 90 degrees with only a little bit of humidity present. The cold front itself will likely produce a few scattered showers and storms, mainly after dark. No severe weather is expected. Behind the front temperatures will cool off again back into the 70s.
