After a remarkable couple of days with high temperatures in the middle 80s and middle 70s we will slowly fall back to normal over the next couple of days as a cold front ushers in more fall-like temperatures. There may be a few rogue showers or sprinkles this evening otherwise a dry pattern is expected before we turn things more active next week. Latest forecast is below. Have a great Wednesday!
Here is another look at the remarkable high temperatures we had on Monday as a gusty southwest wind pushed temperatures well into the 80s across the the entire area. Most of us were just shy of the record high for the day of 87. Thankfully we lost the humidity otherwise we would have actually been talking about a heat index!
We’ll be cooling temperatures off again today with highs only in the lower 70s expected. A cold front will be approaching the area during the day however the better moisture and dynamics will be to the south of the area so I do anticipate we will stay dry through the daylight hours. Overnight mostly cloudy skies with an outside chance of a shower or sprinkle, especially south. Cooler with lows in the middle 40s.
Thursday will feature mostly cloudy skies and temperatures below normal for a change into the 50s continuing on into Friday. So if you are headed out for Friday night football, the jacket will definitely be required.
The upcoming weekend continues to look extraordinarily nice.
