Another Fall Preview! PLUS, 15 Days of Darkness?

Another round with a strong area of high pressure that is currently settling over the Midwest this morning means we’ll enjoy another long stretch of dry and comfortable weather through the remainder of the week.

Today’s forecast will feature pleasant conditions with mainly sunny skies and mild temperatures reaching the middle to upper 70s.

The next three days look more like late September and early October. We’ll see a few more clouds on Thursday as a weak disturbance passes to the west of the area. There is a slight chance of a shower however best chances look to remain to the west of the area. We may knock a few degrees off our highs for Friday depending on how the clouds shape up, but right now it appears we may enjoy more sun than clouds.

Recently an old hoax has resurfaced on social media claiming that NASA has confirmed we will experience 15 days of darkness coming up in November. This is FALSE, but kind of fun to imagine if it actually happened. Could you imagine the surge of energy demand? I can’t even fathom the outcome! Thankfully this is all nothing but fiction.
