High pressure will remain in firm control of our weather pattern today as we will continue to see plenty of sunshine and light winds. Highs today will be in the lower 80s. Changes take place tonight as moisture begins to stream back into the area from the southwest leading to increased chances for showers and thunderstorms by Friday ahead of an approaching cold front. An isolated stronger storm is possible during the. afternoon but widespread severe weather is not expected at this time.
After the front moves through expect cooler conditions this weekend with plenty of sunshine and highs in the 60s. High pressure will remain in control through the early part of next week with out next chance of rain not until about Wednesday.
