A few storm chances this weekend

Clear and comfortable conditions will end the work-week with a nice breeze from the northwest keeping comfort levels in check. Highs return to the middle 80s with low levels of humidity.

The forecast becomes more active into the weekend as an area of high pressure that has kept is relatively quiet moves to the east. This will allow a few waves of energy to work in from the west spawning clusters of showers and thunderstorms. The best chances appear to begin later Saturday evening and then on/off again Sunday through Monday. Some beneficial rainfall certainly looks likely out of these clusters so long as they track in our direction.

By later next week it appears more heat will build back into the Midwest sending the storm track further north and keeping things mainly dry here once again.
