Temperatures Rise This Week

Several school districts have delayed the start of classes this morning so make sure and check with your child’s school. Some slick spots will remain possible on untreated surfaces. Dense fog is also ongoing in spots and could lead to additional light accumulations of ice.

Temperatures rose above freezing last night for the first time since December 22nd! Sunshine will return to our skies today, especially by the afternoon,  and help begin the melting process of some of our snowpack as temperatures hit the lower 30s.

We’ll continue a gradual warmup through the 30s and eventually hit the 40s by Wednesday. That’s when a chance for rain enters the forecast.

Most of our snowpack is expected to be completely melted before the end of the week.
