We’ve logged our biggest rains since the middle of July with this most recent storm system. The Doppler radar estimated rainfall map below shows just how widespread this beneficial rain was. A few isolated higher amounts were observed with those areas that saw thunderstorm activity.
There’s a lot of leftover moisture in the region today which will keep our skies overcast. We could even see a few areas of drizzle at times. Temperatures will be much cooler with highs only around 60. More substantial warmth will arrive by Friday with sunshine returning and highs reaching 80.
